FAQ
Do I need a GPU for this stack?
No. It is all CPU and memory, so any machine in the catalog works — pick the cheapest. A GPU only matters if you also want to run your own language model on the same box.
How much RAM does the machine need?
Nine containers in total (database, cache, API, queues and three interfaces). Reserve 8 GB of RAM for comfort; 4 GB is tight.
Where do the generated passwords live?
In /root/CREDENTIALS.txt on the machine itself, and summarised in the SSH welcome message. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Is this approved by Meta?
Evolution API is an open project that talks to WhatsApp; it is not an official Meta product. Review the terms of the account you plan to connect.
